Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Prestige Landscapes (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you contact us or use this website, in line with UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
Prestige Landscapes, based in Orpington, Kent. You can reach us on 07831 208 117 or at info@prestige-landscaping.co.uk. We are the “data controller” for the information you provide.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us — your name, email, phone number, postcode and any information about your project — via our contact and quote forms, by phone, email or WhatsApp.
- Website usage data — if analytics are enabled, anonymous information about how the site is used (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote — on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To carry out work you ask us to do, and keep records of it — to perform our contract with you and to meet our legal obligations.
- To improve the website — on the basis of your consent (for non-essential cookies) or our legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers that help us run the business — for example the provider that delivers our website contact-form emails, and, where enabled, our analytics provider. These providers process data on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
This is a general policy provided as a starting point. Please have it reviewed to make sure it reflects exactly how the business handles data before launch.
